Annoying Noise help! :(

Can any body help me my cars making an annoying whistle / whine sound only when driving, doesnt do it when stationary ? any ideas? its really bugging me now thanks

Okay cheers mate i'll try that when i get a free bit of time, always best to replace a pair ain't it? if it isnt that any other idea what it could be? its driving me nuts

hmm infact i think it only makes it when ive got my foot on the accelerator ? don't think it gets any louder though?

Could be a boost leak somewhere... do you have a FMIC?

could have a split in a pipe somewhere? have a look round and see if any boost pipes are looking tired. does the car still make full boost?

any power loss check boost pipes in case theres a boost leak

im not too sure about power loss, sometimes it feels asthough its not pulling as hard as it should be? what pipes should i check, the ones going to the tmic? also if i go for a long drive then park up if i get back in after say 20mins it takes a while to start?

check all intercooler pipes are tight and no cracks and check boost pipe going to the actuator

Cheers mate, i'll have a look at them could that be what the annoying sound is?

hmmm now its doing it randomly ohhh i don't know lol, could i have a list of possible problems so far i have boost leak, wheel bearings, anything else so i can check em all over when i get a chance, Cheers Richard.

mine whistles and pulls hard too, i just thought that was the turbo spinning!

its not that sound which is the turbo its some other sound its really annoying!
