any one thought of building a small jet engine

in theory its really simple, i have a couple spare turbos that could be used for some firery fun, thought about starting loads of time but i dont have some small things like a welder to make up a satisfactory jig e.t.c and i dont wanna waste money of something that may blow my face off

any one else have one or atempted it or even curious to try and build one

lol how random, you can get small jets for remote control airplanes i think? not 100% though. would love to see it done though, would need to be spot on mind or you would start it and KABOOM!! :D

why not just turbo the mini moto!! lol and run it on race fuel? that would be good fro a giggle!

You can buy them from the manufacturer called Wren Engines in Rotherham for about £1600.

Friend of mine has 3 setup in model aircraft :)

Haha know what you mean mate, get your ass of the net and on with the project :) I'm looking at a few mini's atm all seem to be rotten :(

I watched the vids on the link that guy added.... wasnt bad sounds mental, didnt exactly take off though lol.
