any tips for nct?

hi im preparing my standard apart from ssqv 96 glanza turbo for nct before i put my mods on! its not out till august but i hear you can go 3 months early? is this true?

just wondering whats the best emissions reducer to use guys?
and anythig to especially look out for in glanzas coming nct?
or any info basically on what to check before goin?

strict rules on any obstructions on windscreeen im afraid buddt but visor stickers only 20 30 euro anyway

gardai can seize ur car even if its a month out so watch mate!!

my glanza came outa japan three weeks, sent her in and she passed straight away...

-aligned lights
-emissions test
-thread depth/tyre condition/tyre pressures
-check every single bulb
-make sure number plates are legal
-oh and watch your wheels dont rub off arch, my mates failed on that
-check all levels, water, oil, power steering, brake and clutch fluid
-check well for any worn bushes, leaks underneath car.

Best bit of advice I can give you for any car is to put it through the NCT as is. Then you can see what needs fixing if there is anything at all. Obviously make sure the car isnt going in with bald tyres and broken lights.

Put it in see what/if it fails on fix it fix it and test it sorted its not a big deal.
