im looking for a good rolling road/tester in the glasgow area.
not AVA however as iv heard alot of bad things from them.

You hear bad things about every Rolling Road, there Rollers are very decent and provide you with a WHP rather than others that project FWHP. Used there rolling road many of times with no issues what so ever.

are you recomending them iain? iv heard that their equipment is good just that the testers where ........
it would be easiest for me to get to AVA as im in dumbarton or in bishopton at missus parents.

Yes, ive used them for over 5 years and Alan knows what hes talking about. He can come across arrogant but thats just Alan :haha: Only a few storys ive heard about them seeming to not be interested etc i cant remember if it was TGTT or UKSC that held an AVA rolling road day years ago.

cool cheers mate.iv been in a couple times years ago ( got spoken to like a kid lol ) only went in to ask a bit of advice haha.

i had a spot of bother with ava, they made a cock up of my rrfpr and fcd and tried to charge me around 200 quid for it:)) fuel pressure was set at 1.4 bar and boost at 1.1 bar!

its things like this that make me think twice about AVA.
in 2 minds as what to do.
why is there no others with R/Rs in glasgow :(

If you want to go see someome that you can trust, pop along to Performance HQ in Dalgety bay. Russ is a top lad and will keep you right.

And the rollers give a proper reading, from results ive seen at AVA the WHP readings seem a bit high.
