i rly aint sure what car i wna get in new year, but thought id ask for sum opinions on RWD cars. jap of course ;)

what is there thats fun? silvia's? s2000's? mr2 turbo? anything else? anybody like to share their experiences? ups and downs?

never driven any of those others to compare. but for the money i dont think the mx5 can be beaten. not exactly a drift beast in standard form but add a turbo and im sure it will be alot more tail happy.

mine suspension wise was tired to say the least and completely stock, but handled really well.
few minor mods and the little 1.6 has enough poke to have fun with

i had an r32 gtst for a few months.great cars,very good handling,reliable and well able for roundabouts.

also drive a 180sx and have to say i preferred it to the skyline,seemed faster(both were standard)

both can be tuned to 300 bhp with a few mods :)

Lucky for you theres members on here who own those from your list except the S15 but there are S14 owners on here.

I have a silvia ps13 at the minute, and its a great car, had an s14 before too, again, great car, so direct, lots of 'feel' and fuck me is my one quick, its probably running about 350hp/ 350 lbft torque. Id like to have seen how it did against my gt which was 275hp, i think the silvia might well edge it

hmmmm turbo'd mx5 sounds an interesting prject. but can mx5 drivetrain take much power? like 300 odd or sumthin. cus i wud want summit fast like.

wow steve u reckon it would pull on a 275hp starbo? cus mine was 253 and was crazy lol to me anyway. so anythin with rwd and as much pull as my glanza had or more would be 'enjoyable' lol

Get on to mx5nutz.com they can be turbo'd/sc'd on standard internals few on there at 250bhp etc, Great handling cars tbh and lots of fun :D

power is nothing without control. the handling would make up for the lack of power. you can get 200bhp+ on stock engine with a turbo and the drivetrain is fine.

above that im unsure tbh, but i bet it is one hell of a fun car at 200 bhp.

i used to have a r32 gtst about 280bhp, there wicked cars great fun but the only downside is the running costs e.g petrol/parts, i had i slight issue with mine and it cost me nearly a grand

My Dad got 277bhp out of his, detuned to 244 for everyday. Stock engine and gearbox.

ae 86 twin cam corolla! keep it toyota!!!!!!!! best rwd car iv ever driven for just messing! if dennis the menace hada car that would be it! on the cam!

e30 straight six bmw :) i could of drove that car to the moon and back until i welded the diff lol great first rwd car
