nothing wrong with the standard brakes on a gt if there in good condition and working as they should.
 
X3 i was only running .8 bar before my car left today for tuning developments and i swear my brakes should have been on toast with lea and perrins on top

So glad i went for ksport setup ! If your financially stable in terms of if it went bang could u fix it an uprate the brakes other than that knock yourself out bud !

Well either the boost level or the bhp are bollocks as there is no way you can get "the power: 260 FWHP 200WHP 210lbs of torque" @ 1 bar of boost. More like 200FWHP! Maybe if you had braided lines a BMCS yellowstuff pads uprated discs good condition calipers then they may just about do at 1 bar on a CT9

I made 223 FWHP @ 1bar of boost on a TD04. 198 FT LBS and 200.1 WHP . Had no gasket on the decat and my injectors were at 80% duty cycle on the day. It may be possible to make it with the hybrid turbo,certainly not impossible. Phil had his at a similar FWHP with some headwork.

If anything I'd say the 380cc's are too much,330's would do. I was on standard internals,everything was spot on until the boost controller spiked to 1.6bar. Im sure it was how I set it up that made a bollox of it.

As for brakes,I had grooved disc's,they worked well I thought. You dont need 6pots,but levin 2 pots wouldn't hurt.

Seems like a nice solid car. If it was me though I'd budget to forge it and throw a TD05 onto it.
