As title really, been looking for a standalone system for my forged 5e build, I've been looking at getting a link g4, haltech or motec ecu, so I spoke to AFR and they recommended me a syvecs.
Has anyone had their ecu installed or mapped at AFR and what are they like there?

Thanks

Jamie, john gave me a quote of around the £2k mark for supply, fit and map, so that sounds about right.

Yea mate he said that would be the max for it all in it sounded a gr8 peace of kit but 2k bit to much for me lol as you can get a apexi power fc for about £700 to 1k and they are one of the best standalone's out there for a starlet... I went with the EMU in the end lol and im happy with it

Ay Jamie I was gonna go for the PFC but it can't run coil on plug :(
It is a lot of money, but I've looked at the spec list and it's 5 pages long for the syvec :haha:

Looked at the Syvecs ages ago but went with a PFC as i couldn't justify the outlay for a lot of features i wouldn't need.

It makes sense if your not going to use most of the features.
Be better off going with like a dta or omex which is much cheaper with features that your likely to use.
