I have a question on tax in the Uk,
Got a question on Income tax and was wondering if anyone can help?
Iam living in spain and have since the 28th of May 2007,
I spent the first 4 days on company buissness then started a 2 year contract on 1st of June 2007,
I have had advice from Landwell over here but he couldnt advise on Uk tax,
I am liable for tax in Spain from 1st of december 2007 so for 2007 my tax obligations in spain are for december only,
Is it possible to to claim my tax back from the UK from the 28th of may onwards? as I have been living in spain since then, and have only lived in the UK for 53 days of this tax year (2007-2008)
I currently have a hypothetical tax policy with my contract which deduct the amount of tax I would be paying if I was in the UK and then pays my tax for me in spain with it, I mentioned this to my Tax adviser and he said the hypothetical tax should only apply from december onwards,
