Anyone know much about Blitz dsbc?

Hello, after a load of trouble getting it to work I have now sussed my boost controller.

After taking it for a spin and fiddling I cannot get the ratio right and it seems to sit at 1. bar then next time I stick my foot down it boosts to 1.5bar.

0 is meant to be low setting 100 high. Bit worried about 1.5bar that must be on the verge of doing some real damage (only hit 1.5bar once or twice).

Sounds like you getting a bit ov boost creep m8. I have the Greddy Profec B Spec 2 electronic boost controller but im finding it really hard to work out. Anyone using one of these on there car ?? ??

i hope you both have supporting mods and havnt just spanked boost controllers on and upped you boost? go to the website of the controller manufacturer and download the instruction manual problem sorted :) i wouldnt be fiddling with an ebc i hadnt read the manual for as you cook fook your engine with ease.

and the best place for threads like this is the tech section under the electronics sub heading :D

Creep (correct me if i'm wrong) is to hit above then settle to your target. I may not have given it time to hit it's target but seeing 1.5 I just backed off. Also .5 is a massive overboost/creep?

I thought it's not strictly an electrical issue it's maybe operators issue or maybe I have done something wrong. Anyhow perhaps you are right.

tis a huge overboost mate, creep is normaly 0.1-0.2 not 0.5!the dial for 0-100 is gain not boost management btw wich from what i understand is to do with holding back the boost before it builds ie. how hasrh a kick you get from your turbo. not 100% on your ebc as i use an hks evc4 id defo get some instructions tbh mate


EDIT: was writing before i saw the post above. you switched the swich on the master box to run on external gate not actuator?? common mistake as the ebc will manage boost in different ways for each :D

No I haven't seen a switch? I shall read up about the gain my perception was that it is a boost management - Re-read time!

EDIT: I haven't been messing with the GAIN I have infact been doing the right things (as I did infact read the instructions before playing with my new toy) :)

should be a small switch think on the blitz its on the mian box not the small one you adjust boost with, normaly has somthing like sw/ac or somthing like that and it changes the setting for external gate and actuators :)

Sounds like too much gain, it is supposed to overshoot then settle, how much it overshoots by is usually optimised by the gain :)

Must say im not really a fan of the blitz one, a mate has one in his 3000gto and its a bit faffy for my liking :(
