Aqua planning

Its been raining really heavy today and the car has been like driving a sledge on snow.

I have only owned the car for 3 months and its primarily set up for track use, low stiff suspension, its been corner weighted and the coilovers setup, but its the worst car i have owned for aqua planing on water.

Im not sure if its the tyres im running or what but if it starts to rain moderately the car will love to skim across the water like a bloody flying fish.

The car is only 890 kg so i am assuming this has alot to do with it and the power delivery is fairly rapid to say the least lol, but what are other peoples like in rainy conditions?

what tyres are you running? If there are semi slicks or have low tread this can have a lot to do with it
