as above how much do they go for 2nd hand? is there much difference over standard topmount? can you use the original pipes or do u need new ones? if anyone can answer those question id appreciate it

ARC topmount intercooler?

Well they're over 700 euro (600 sterling) new on rhd so id imagine that they would make around 300 to 400 euro used depending on the condition. They would be alot better than the standard tmic but not as good as a fmic and even an expensive fmic kit wouldn't be much dearer, maybe around 650 sterling for a blitz kit new

wel my topmount is fuked every fin is bent no joke was goin to save for a front mount but came accross an ARC for 150 so u recon itd be worth gettin or just keep savin for front mount? are autobhann frontmount s any good?

Well 150 euro is a good price and if you want it then go for it but ya, a fmic would be a lot better

the pipe for the turbo hard pipe to intercooler is the same
the pipe from the intercooler to the inlet manifold is different and is straight.
you should notice some power increase especially at the top end.

X2, ive had no probs and im td04 @ 1.2 bar for over a year

well its the same pipe work used bar as someone said above,the pipe from the inlet manifold to the intercooler is different!
all you need is some straight pipe and 2 jubilee clips!!
i noticed it was better alright.
saying that though,at the same time as fitting the TMIC,i fitted a HKS Super Drager and a gutted cat,removed the aircon and bypassed low boost.
with those things done she was alot faster than before and at that we had to reduce the boost so now shes boosting under .8 bar all the time and theres still fair poke out of it!
