I've just signed up and paid up thru paypal but I can't seem to work out how to put my avatar up. Does it take a while for the payment to go thru?

Usually it's an automatic change but I know there's been a few that haven't. Might just take a while for it to register mate, if it still hasn't changed you to a paid member by tomorrow just PM me and I'll look into it.

How did you get it sorted Idrees? Also how did you get your post count to carry over?

Jay sorted it out through Macker for me, didn't take long.

Theres a thread in the welcome section, reply to that stating your old post count and it'll transfer over
