bank transfer

im going to do a bank transfer to keith at zisco, everything is all fine.
apart santander my bank want a reference.

its called their reference next to the box you got to fill in.

PM'd keith but want save this as a template so can send it tomorrow when at work.

any ideas what this could mean??

Im with Santander, and i have sent Keith money before, but cant remember what they mean by reference though...

you try searching the sandander website?? answer should be on there.

found answer guys, if paying a personal account you have to have a reference for the transaction ie manifold etc....

rand santander and got is sussed....

i think with any bank transfer they will have this option and iirc you can put anything.i made a one off payment to my mother in-law and i just put inlaws:haha:
