info on battery relocation. just need to know what diameter cable and rating you have used and also how much you needed and where you got it from as i can get cable but i have to buy it in a 10 metre roll. and i no way need 10 metres or will have any other use for the rest of it. cheers

Could buy ten metres and sell the rest perhaps?

But when I relocated my battery although in a different car, I used zero gauge wire. It's the full bifta for sure!

i dont have any but ive read several times that starlets benefit from added weight over the wheels upfront , it aids with traction/wheelspin ,
i would leave it as is ;)

Ah well that's totally debatable about the weight, alot of people who say that have also put a carbon bonnet on their car and fiber glass bumpers, the ideal weight distribution is supposed to be as close to 60/40 or 70/30 as you can get.

sorry if im being :homer: what do you mean by zerogauge wire?

im making an earth kit aswell from wire i bought. it will brighten up the bay aswell as the boot :)

i just prefer to know i wont have a fire on my hands because the starter motor has burnt the wire out because its too thin.

yup, used 0 gauge on my 106, little tip tho, make sure you have an inline fuse, the person who i bought my car from, well they never, and i had a little fire in the bay, luckily not bad as i opened the bonnet to see bout the smoke lol, so fuse is a must, and get a good groud aswell

yeah my intention was to fuse it as i also wanted to put a block connector so i can plug my hids etc into it so its tidy. what size of fuse would you recommend? 60 amp or such?

i used 100A mate, as i tried 60, and the starter was pulling too much current, and blew it out, so went with 100, and that is still there with the new owner i hope lol, aslong as its larger than the current pulled from starting, it wont matter, cos on a short, the amperage will be so large it would blow any fuse, as zero resitstance(dead short) in theory means infinity current, thus blowing the fuse
