Must be a fresh import, check the plates.

really, if i was you id be trying to get a ride in that beast lol. Is it a fresh import and is it legal to keep those plates on?

All imports are de-registered, and as part of that process, the plates have to be handed back in by law. However, that doesn't stop a few plates escaping the country in an envelope now and then... As for legality, if it's registered in the UK, then UK plates must be displayed or the law will bite on your behind...

Are the plates not property of the Government and you can get in some pretty big trouble if you are caught with them? or something along those lines. Its actually silly the money you can sometimes pay for a 'JDM' plate considering what it actually is :shoot:

Still the R34 is a lovely car and one of a few cars that can suit lairy kits with big diffusers and the like on them.
