which issue is it in addaman?

as ive got most banzais for last 3 years.

thing im just not getting is

bhp = (torque * revs)/5252.11

so surely your wanting the highest bhp output not the highest torque?

one way i read it described was this

Best way most people understand it is related to boxing.

HP is how fast you can punch
Torque is how hard you can punch
"

now myself in a car instance i wouldnt want a hard punch id want a fast punch.

well i guess you made great sense My friend:eek:, cause most of lads think Honda's are slow just because they have less torque and don't take it into consideration they have low ratio box to suit the power and fly through rev's. which is why they don't feel slow even with less torque.:)

torque doesnt make it necessarily feel fast, the fact a honda is slow is because its not moving very fast! :p

so im assuming you mean your comment on boxing.

well clearly if you can have best of both worlds then take that, hard and fast.
i dont think the illustration really adds another dimension to the arguement/ explaination. as like horsepower vs torque, either extreme is useless. a really fast punching boxer with no "hardness"/weight simply does no damage, a massage would be more painful, and a heavyweight who only needs to land one punch to kill you is pretty useless if he fist arrives where your head was ten minutes ago!?

if you were talking about banzai, ignore my post i allow you. :)
