big problem turbo leakin oil, small pipe.

noticed a oil leak coming from top of the little pipe from under the turbo?, how will i go about sortin this ?, hope it aint a new turbo!? cheers..

Ya'll probably just need a new oil feed/return pipe. Its a common enough problem that the small pipe cracks, happened me a few times

Dont drive the car like this though as the turbo wont be getting enough oil.

yeah its easy changed, 2 bolts on the turbo and 1 on the block at the end of the skinny pipe

dont understand how thease pipes get cracks in them, but it looks like its coming from the seal bit.

If you need to drive the car, try sealing the thread in Ptfe tape it's a thin silicone like tape witch plumbers use on rad fixings ect, it could stop the leak, but I would still advise to get pipes

had this happen on my glanza a few times! in the end i went out and got a braided bit of hose to go there instead and after that no problems what so ever

i kept the standard rubber/samco pipe then got a peice of braided line welded to the plate that bolts up with the 2 bolts and then got a banjo put on the other end so i could connect that up 2
