you can turn standerd cams all the way round with no belt on them with it tdc .but will higher lift cams and a standerd turbo enigine you cant do this as the vavles will hit the piston crown at tdc so they have to be interferance then right ?
You can use plastcene or the so called "silly putty " and put it on the piston tops. Turn the engine by hand, then remove the head and measure the indentation the valves make on the pistons if any. As a general rule here when ordering forged pistons we normally request deeper valve pockets on the pistons.What's clay them? Lol
