bit of info on the emanage ultimate

Hi guys.

Just a bit of info that i found out yesterday that i wasn't aware of.

If your emu has a serial number of less than 4000 and is thus not a revision 'e' unit you will need an injector adaptor.

Im saying this really as i didn't know this when i bought my unit second hand and im sure im not the only one to have found this out when the cars gone to be mapped.

Worth a check before you buy the emu or before you have it mapped.

this also depends on what injectors you plan to use so check with your tuner first
Sorry if this has already been covered but i couldn't find and info on it.

yeah its been discussed before
however, most people still recommend you get the additional injector adaptor

I had a D version brand new back in the day and had the injector adaptor just in case.
I've never saw any diference with or without it.
I have maped quite few "E" PCB without injector adaptor.
it might have been required for previous version. just don't know

well chris and azerty have verified that its not important on the later models
so now you guys can save a few dollars
