features such ; extended rev cut, boost cut, mapping are different..allows u to boost around 1.2 Bar if not mistaken..

I personally would not run more than 1bar on a stock glanza engine as the rods are to weak.
I ran 1.2bar on my glanza but that had a GT engine it

Ya I was thinking of putting a steel head in and try boosting at a bar.Would I need to to upgrade intercooler fort this ? :)

to boost a bar on a p&p ecu id recommend front mount intercooler. better manifold, decat, better plugs and leads hks actautor and an exhaust. no harm in uprated rad cap and thermostat either
ive ran mine for 1.1 bar for a few years now.i dont abuse it though.. as with anything if you dont look after it it'll get f****d..

Its a real good mod, probably the best starting mod you can buy, I ran one myself for many years. If you are going to raise the boost there are a few other things you may need to consider. The stock manifold is restrictive in cylinder 3, if can cause overheating of the piston running 1 bar. It can be ported or the mani swapped for a decent aftermarket one for piece of mind. If you want to port it yourself there are details on here, use the search button top right of the page. A good intake and decent exhaust will help keep things running well also, a gutted cat and panel filter are the minimum and cheapest options for this, this will help prevent boost creep and keep things running well without future engine problems.

more like 60/80 pound weejohn second hand waist gait and weld on manni and a custom bracket to keep flap closed

no need for fancy manifolds etc etc

ya sure why not it aint that hard to weld on cast ( arc ) heat it up beforehand and do small welds and let cool down slowly somewhere warm

i welded up my 2,5 inch crack on the ct9 manni this way and it aint cracked yet after 16 months use the right rods aswell not the standard ms rods

like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/cast-iron-welding-rods
