how much are these worth, thinking of goin TD04 so want to no how much its worth, i thort it had fin damage but my mate sey's it feels like fins have been trimmed anyone heard of this before

Well I REALLY really want one...and if it is confirmed that it isn't actual damage, I may be very interested. Do you have any pictures to ensure what your friend has said? Brand new the K1's retailed from Japan for £850 or so, typically when sold in the UK they go for £600ish for a PRISTINE example (and usually on Yahoo Auctions too, though I've seen some RIGHT bargains before...like £400 for a Blitz Manifold, K1 turbo, Downpipe, and custom exhaust mid-section for a Paseo mind you (damnit)...with 3000km from new, for £400...), and around £450 for a very good example, and around £250-300 for something needing a rebuild.
A bargain one went on eGay recently, for £115, but that was pumelled into a pile of smouldering Britz metal - seized shaft, collapsed bearings, crack in the exhaust housing etc...But yeah, could you pm me details and pictures again please chap?

well got no pics as of yet, because its still on car, so once removed i will no exactly the condition its in, drives fine no smoke or anything

dunno miles it came on car, i was asking about rebuild because i thort it had fin damage but a mate rekons its been trimmed because they all same

£115, doesnt sound like a bargain. if the shaft has seized and the bearings knackered and wastegate cracked its worth nothing as its wrecked.
