blue smoke!!!!!

wel, long story short we were in hury and wernt payn atention and we put to much oil in the car and drove it for about to min and the car is pumpin out blue smoke(alot of smoke) what do ye rekon, turbo?

never a good thing to do man... empty some of it and get it to the level on the dip stick... have you still got the breather pipe fitted on the rocker cover to efi pipe?

Yea as above, get that excess out and get it to the correct level as u can do damage to seals etc......

ya i tppk the oil out after the drive but its still pumpin, the breather pipe is there but i never checked was it blocked, also iv loads of power

let it idle for awhile 2 see will it burn off..

i drove it for about 6 miles today and still smokin

right... check spark plugs 2 see are they oily to rule out piston rings.. if ok take off cat and look for signs of oil there and if thats ok take off turbo 2 intercooler pipe 2 see is there oil there which ull see anyway cause you would of taken off intercooler to check plugs...

sound il do that after work tomoro, is it hard to take of the cat(very little space to move) how do ye doit?

check the other 2 things first cause thats a pain to do and you need a special socket for the bolts... does it pour smoke on cold start up??

ok, no it is grand for the first 3-5min then starts pumpin

could be just oil in the exhaust burning off mate. no harm checking the other things anyway
