looks to be a DIY chip

alters the map on the stock ecu for aparent improvements to power/torque and fuel economy

no good in a starlet so

my dad has one for his 1.6 focus. just re-flashes the stock ecu. allows you to alternate between stock map and the new map at the press of the button.

he was pleased with the improvement it made.

but as steo said, doesnt work on a starlet!
