With that set up you will be some getting creep, but 0.8 bar of creep seems excessive, have you checked the vac pipe on the actuator? if that came off the car would boost indefinitely, it's all i can think of

i checked my actuator and all semmed well, i cant understand it either i assumed boost creep was a not as severe as that, this was very eratic and quick,.

your intercooler pipe popping off probably saved your engine mate. you were lucky ;)

all i can think is try it again, but keep an eye on your boost gauge and see exactly what happens. if the boost goes too high, back off the throttle.

could just be a strange one off.

Look for split vac pipes and intercooler pipes, a pin hole can even cause a serious leak ive found from experience!

Spray a drop of carb or brake cleaner round all the vac/cooler pipes if there is a leak the engine revs will rise.
