Hello, just got myself a 90' gt starlet,
mods are FMIC, 2 3'4 straight through turbo back exhaust, air filter,bov.
i have a boost controller which i took out to see if the normal boost was still working...
if i put my foot down the car will boost and drop of down to about 6 psi,(with BC)
Boosts to about 5-6 pounds (without BC)
off the line it's not to bad 7-9 psi but after shifting into 2nd it sticks around 4-5psi and slowly moves up to about 5-6 before i change and so on into 3 or 4th
boosting in 4th it makes again 5-6 pound on stock boost using bypass or it will spike to fuel cut with the boost controller in.
What i'm trying to find out is why is the boost not rising under load once i shift gears 5-6 psi
Actuator? slipping clutch although seems ok to me? hose leak?
Any help would be great
