Boost Gauge Not Working Properly

Right people last night i removed the pioneer double din from my ep82 and this morning i noticed when i had the car lights on that the boost gauge lights arnt lighting up......


can somebody help as i dont know anything about boost gauges

Think you better have a look at the wire going into ACC.

you must have knocked wire out

dunno whats rong with it....it moves the boost neadle fine but dunt light up at all

Maybe the earth for the light?

The earth for mine was wired to my head unit, so when i had my head unit out getting repaired the light wasnt working.

Trace all the wires from the boost gauge.

You WILL find the fault this way.

fro i think your right there was a wire on the side of the head unit before i took it off....so will av a little look

Yeah more than likely, try it back onto where it came off and see if it works again. Not too clued up on electrics so dunno how youd solve it unless ur just puttin it back on?

It was probably earthed to the HU cage from what's been posted.

As I've said, there's only 4 wires to a boost gauge, have a look

sounds like theres a wire off somewere mine is doing the same it takes ages for the boost gauge to light up i must investigate it later.

If its not a wire, which is sounds like.. You may have blown a fuse.
