Have a Bit of a strange problem, am in the middle of running my engine in again! And is all going sweet apart from the other day I couldn't help but put my foot down for 1sec, all this no boost driving is too much, anyway I have fitted a tdo5 turbo and used the tdo4 actuator. When I put my foot down hard it started boosting and then sounded like I had a dumpvalve fitted which I don't and lost boost, so there is some sort of boost leak there but as I have been driving it around stil running it in I have been reving it up the rev range at half throttle and it makes 0.5 with no problem at all, even at 75%throttle it seems fine, can anybody shed some light on where I should start by looking 1st? Iv read that it could be a weak actuator but I know they use the same actuator on the tdo4 on Subaru and mine was workin fine at 1.5bar on tdo4. Anybody know a way I can compress the intercooler system to check for boost leaks? Or has anybody had this problem before? Thanks
