soz probly wrong section ... but how do you change rear pads on a gt and adjust the handbrake cable?

dont know how to adjust the cables.
rear pads:

1. jack up safely/wheel off/in gear without handbrake on
2. two 14mm (im sure) bolts hold on the caliper, remove caliper (can be stiff) and take the pads out
3. put in new pads
4. you may have to wind caliper to get caliper back on over the disc
5. tighten up two 14mm bolts
6. wheel back on.
7. to be safe bleed your brakes

yup wrong section.

assuming you cables aren't damaged. there is a 10mm nut in side by the handbrake, tighten that up mate. (when the handbrake is down! then lift to see how many clicks it needs)
