Broken locking nut.. help!

Whats the best way to remove these? Its pretty much snaped in half so will have to maybe drill into it or somthing? I want to try and get it off my self 1st before i take to a garage so any ideas welcome lol, il take a pic if needed!

try drive a socket of simailar size on it , dat worked for me

happend to me while back, went to garage and he told me he used a titanium chisel and hammered ontop of it, thats of course after he charged me £40

he said he shoudnt have told me :haha:

try it should work, put the sharp edge of the chisel in between an hammer it to crack it apart

Cant get anything acctually around the nut, so the only way is too really snap the nut in half lol. Il see how it goes tomorrow !

a wheel shop should have a left threaded socket,does the job perfect
