Bumper cutting?

I want to cut out the licence plate section, but wondered what would be the best tool for the job, i was thinkin a jigsaw with a metal cuttin bit???

stanley blade

a sharp stanley blade does the job great.. BUT, you have to have the hands of a surgeon.. so this will be a no-no if you've had a couple of beers..

I used a jig saw and a soldering iron to cut mine out the soldering iron gets into the tight spots easily and leaves a nice smooth edge.

@ Rob H: oh yes mate. good one on the soldering iron. i used that too to smooth out the rough or hard-to-reach spots..

it does a little, but if you dont get the plastic too hot it is fine.

i used a fine tooth hacksaw blade worked a treat

X2, very easy to use and can get in the tight spots.
