Good evening all. Its been a while, i just wondered if the the throttle body coolant pipes can be bypassed thus keeping the throttle body cooler. Or will it cause an issue with running? Thanks in advance. Chris

the coolant runs through a stat that regulates the amount of air that passes to the idle control valve. if the coolant doesnt pass through this, it could cause the engine idle to be higher than it should be.

if you use the car all year round and have standard management, i wouldnt bother, but if you dont or have stand alone management, then there is no harm in it.
