The inlet cam is set in place on the head, with the service bolt hole facing upwards or pointing to 12 o clock. There is 2 different dots on the inside sprocket, one of them will be at right angles to the service bolt, or at the 9 o clock position. This is the dot you line up with the 2 dot mark on the inside of the exhaust cam sprocket.
