I've had Clifford,K9,meta etc all before.

Out of those the Clifford and K9. I found the K9 to be just as good as the clifford and price for price more features. Just depends if you want Clifford stickers and fob.

I do really like the clifford alarms but iv been told they are really difficult to fit and programme.

Iv got a corba on my Glanza but iv never been massively keen on it.

Clifford and K9 actually use the same wire's,connectors etc and are manufactured by the same company in the same factory. When I was getting the last alarm fitted the fitter showed me them side by side, very minor differences.

As for fitting,I wouldn't fit one myself. A good alarm is really only as good as the person who fitted it. You can put a clifford 650 with blackjaxx and if you leave it sloppy the guy can just find the wires.

the problem with someone else fitting your alarm module for you is that they have the lo-down on your setup and can always disable it or divulge that information about it. the perks of being a d.i.y'er is that you get to pick what cut-outs and fail-safes to build into the system.. :)

I could counter that with you should fully research who you are going to get to fit your alarm, not just your average joe. Someone who has years of recommendations.

Make your own bud :)
I have removed plenty of alarm systems in my life. And to be honest an alarm system is useless.
If the thief wants your car he will take it! Takes from 5 seconds to a max of 5 min to take your car.

The best will be if you have an after market stand alone management and do a nice custom anti theft on it :)
