Car cutting out coming up 2 lights/ a stop etc...???

My glanza has just started 2 cut out when coming up 2 trafic lights or to a general stop, only thing ive done 2 it in the last 2 weeks is relocate the air filter 2 the front grill when i first done this the car run perfect but the last couple of days has started this so im dont no if its anything 2 do with the filter relocated or not.


Anyone any ideas?

see it always did idle really low but now its not idleing at all just cuts outs, what way can the revs be turned up on these?

Before trying to adjust the idle speed I'd first check the throttle position sensor is closing the idle contacts. The easiest way to test this is to pull the connector from the TPS and short the bottom 2 pins of the connector with a jumper wire or paper clip.

If the engine then idles correctly either the TPS needs to be adjusted (click) or it needs to be replaced.

If shorting the 2 pins doesn't make any difference then there could be a wiring fault or an issue with the IACV (click).

Also check the pipe to the map sensor. If it has a split or has been disconnected can cause low idle and cutting out

dirty fuel filter ? or perhaps try screwing the big screw in the inlet all the way down if its not already

Had a look 2 day an as soon as i opened the bonnet i noticed that 1 off the little earthing wires on the top mount inter cooler where broke do these do anything? also seen that the manifold gasjket has a small leak so can anyone shed any light as 2 weather this would cos cutting out?

also the car ticks over fine sitting???
