turned the boost down mate and buy a fuel cut deffender with fuel pressure regulator.... fit them then turn the boost up again...

it does cause problems on the long run.... you could run lean and ruin your engine....

Best thing to do is learn when it hit's,mine use to hit about 5.5k in the rev's so just befor 5k i would let off or change gear..

Hitting fuel cut will cause damge in the long run, (dont quote me on this i could be wrong) but when you hit fuel cut it basicly shut's off all injector's for a sec, then puts them back on cuasing fuel surge thats when you get the big jurk in car...

i think its the really cold weather thats causing a lot of people to hit fuel cut even on standard starlets with high boost because cold air contains more oxygen and the standard ecu was never designed with that in mind so in turn when your booting it you will be running lean with the more oxygen in the air fuel mixture causing you to hit fuel cut

Agreed with above! had mine set to 11psi n kept hitting fuel cut at night when it was cold....Im now rebuilding my engine lol dont know if its because of that but it may have contributed to it so ep82_anvance says get a fuel cut defender and a fuel pressure reg. and go from there... :)
