Car problem wastegate?

Now i dunno if its the wastegate, but im pretty sure it is.

All of a sudden while i was driving back from work 2day i went to hit full boost while overtaking a car, as i have an external w/g with a downpipe it makes a huge screaming noise if you know the noise im on about?

Well this time around it didnt. It just made no noise at all, like i didnt even have an external wastegate. But the car also didnt boost creep so it still must be working?

I have no idea why it started doing this. I check all my piping and vacume lines and they are all ok.

you may have just got the throttle right and gearing etc

go out let it get warm and boot it but keep an eye on your boost incase wastegates stucking closed etc
