car wont charge

so a couple weeks ago i started my car (although the engine turned slowly) and drove 10 miles to a shop only to find when i tried to leave the shop my car had a flat battery.

ive since tried the following:
- charged the battery
- changed the battery
- changed the alternator.

and as a result i am still experiencing the same issues which leads me to thinking there is another problem that im hoping some ideas flying around here would solve.

the car jump starts as you would expect but no chargy, ideas?

One quick check you can do is to look if there are any drainage's on the charging system. Something sucking power?

Connections and earths are always worth checking, cleaning up and making sure they are in good condition and put a multimeter on the circuit to see if there is the correct voltage going through it.

im not sure off the top of my head, but check there isnt a fuse directly for the alternator. that may have gone.

what voltages are you getting? is it rising at all with the car running or when the revs are up?

I will check the earths etc., I cleaned the main power cable to alternator last night.

will check fuses and relays later.

14v when car is running!
