wel lad any luck wit car c ur from cavan so am i if ya want a hand wit sortin her give me a shout
Points to the ignition system. That's encouraging.
Igniter, coil, distributor and all their associated wiring. Because you have changed the wiring that would make me think you got a duff component in the loop but then again I could be wrong.
Also check that your TPS is setup and reading correctly. That could have a bearing on the code too from what I remember.
The TPS can also make it hard to start if not reading correctly, it overfuels a bit when the closed signal is not there.
Just check there is a circuit between the bottom 2 pins on the TPS first, thats whats important to get it started.
Take the plugs out, leave them somewhere warm to dry out. Take the injector plugs off the injectors and turn the car over for 5 seconds 3 or 4 times. Put the plugs back in and put the plugs back on the injectors and try it again.
Did you remove the leads from the dizzy cap and are you getting a spark through all the leads?
When you turn it over, does it turn any faster than normal?
wahhayyy,the bitch has fired
but driving her the engine light is still on and its hesitant,it will splutter up the revs..so im gonna go out and do another diagnostics check
the car WONT start with my power fc:flame:..i think it has died on me!
if anyone would like to try it in there ep82 that would be good,i just wanna see if its fried
it was spluttering on the way back from the mappers that time and the injectors were leaking, are they in right?
And i think the fueling was changed when we put in the 460s, and he prob forgot to change it back
i know you say youve checked dizzy and plug leads but did you try changing the coil itself?
First guess is that the TPS (throttle position sensor) isn't reading properly. Failing that I'd agree that it does sound pretty fucked up.
