Hello mate, you don't need a cat to pass your emissions on your mot test for the ep82! It's because there is no uk equivalent car/engine to compare to i think. Tell your tester this and get them to check it out from VOSA!

If the car is post august 1995 (i.e) an N reg then it does still do the CAT test

EDIT: Sorry don't have one mate. But if your car is older than an 'N', you'll only need to do a basic idle test, nd you'll get through that without a CAT

I just passed my MOT with a complete straight through exhuast. it is 2.5 inches all the way from turbo to back box with one silencer at the back box.
its a 1993 ep82 i'm running 0.8 bar on the stock ct9 as well.
it even passed the noise test. haha. i had a mate who fitted a mongose exhaust back box only to his fiesta st and it failed as too loud....

strange as mine is way louder.
but i've heard they do the test holding the throttle at 3000rpm i have heard is this true.
