Celica St185 ECU Advice

I know it not a starlet but hoping someone can help...

A friend has a celica gt 4 st185 and has bought a carlos sainz ecu. When he installed it the car did not start, the car is getting fuel though. Does anyone know if the ecu will work?

It starts and runs fine on its own ecu just when the carlos sainz one was installed it would not start

st185 has airflow meter not map sensor.. is the carlos edition ecu from st185 or st205 which has map sensor? if so thats you issue

as akis said. the carlos sainz is basically the st205 engine as it has a charge cooler and no airflow meter etc.

wont work with that engine!
