Central Locking Key Fob programming

I'm trying to program a central locking key fob (part #89742-10010) but I cant seem to get it to work. There is two different guides and I have tried both. Any tips?

Or is it possible my 96 glanza doesn't have a reciever?

This is the way I tried.
Unlock the car. Climb in and close the door.
Insert the key into the ignition barrel, turn the ignition ON-OFF 3 times
Pull the key out of the barrel then press the button on the new fob.
Locks should now cycle on, off.
Insert key back into the ignition, and then again turn the ignition ON-OFF 3 times.
Pull the key out of the barrel and then, again press the button on the new fob.
Locks should now cycle on, off.
The fob is now programmed to the car, just double check by pressing the button on the fob a couple of times, the locks should god up and down.

Anyone know if these fobs work with a Sportif N/A?

Where can you get the fob?

You can go order them in Toyota using that part number for £40 or if i cant get mine going .
