clutch fluid

firstly sorry everbody for all my forum pest questions recently but i just cant find any of them on the search.

is there any specific clutch fluid that im supposed to use on my ep82? or will universal dot 4 be okay?

i thought clutch n brake fluid was same thing so 5.1 would probs be best , i used 5.1 toyota official stuff lol

dot 4 brake fluid will be fine as long as you havnt got 5.1 in there as they shouldnt be mixed

5.1 and 4 is fine to mix in a hurry, but as its such a small circuit it wont take 5 mins to replace it all.

DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 will be fine, don't use anything else though.

sweet cheers for that guys, my master clutch cylinder went saturday, and i assumed it was due to sticking some random VAG clutch fluid in that i found in the shed...lesson learned. rep added to all
