Yeah think he does, good way of testing is when cold as slip will be more evident as their is less heat friction. Like this:

That's on an auto yank tank but easy to see watch when it changes to second.

i hammered the 1st gear up to redline and shifted to 2nd gear 1 notice that the engine sound fluctuates. maybe its a slip
