hi guys and girls im new to this site /hope someone can shed some light on my problem .
i have gt turbo 1995 went for mot 2 days ago and failed on 2 bulbs and co emissions to high maximum being 3.5 mine was 6.29
i have fcd /decat straight thru /dump valve /induction/ and just standard hi low boost .
garage told me to put cat bk on but thought the car can pass mot without this .

Think it could be something to do with the FCD on the car, some of the guys will advise you better... what setting is the FCD at? the number?

i reckon stick the cat back on lad from 91 i think all cars have to have a cat thats the way in ireland anyway

No, pre 95 GT's don't need CATS as they don't have an emmissions test to compare it against to, only has to do basic idle test, but affys CO2 is stupidly high??

i have a 96 glanza.
the guy who mot'd mine,
said as its a jap import they dont require a cat test,
maybe laws changed since october.

well its being carried out as non cat anyway - as limit is 3.5%, and should pass easily even with a decat fitted.

something isnt right, whats your fuelling like?? how many miles to a tank do you roughly get??

maybe possible lamba sensor issue causing it to run rich????
