Hi all,

coming soon we will be offering web hosting packages for those of you who either want to host your own website at your subdomain "mydomain.toyotagtturbo.com" or those of you who want to register your own unique domain and point it to your website "www.anything.com"

For existing paid members - you will receive FTP access to your webspace with a 10MB account and an option to either redirect your tgtt.com email address to an existing account or have a full email account here with POP access and a 10MB storage limit.

For those requiring a more beefy hosting package, traders and such - we will offer paid hosting packages offering mySQL database hosting and all of the other features any very good web host will offer without the large yearly fees. The limits on email accounts, storage and the price of these packages has yet to be determined - more information will be available soon.

For those who are interested in this please email admin@toyotagtturbo.com to register your interest.

LOL... there will be rules like with any organisation offering hosting - any account having "stuff" hosted will be removed.

to be totally honest Mully and I dont want to sound ptronising .... but... :) if you dont know what it means you probably dont need it.

This will only be of interest to the minority I would have thought. When it is available there will be a better explanation and full instructions so if you want to give it a go then you can :)

the rules will be standard hosting rules.. if you wouldnt be happy with your mother sister etc looking at the files then they shouldnt be on your hosting account.

As for sftp... if you can give me a good enough reason why you need it then we can sort something out but most hosting companies do not offer it and Ive never had a reason to use it.

:) , that's just slanderus. Ah just messing and standard ftp is fine. I'd be just using it for links & pics, sorry not pics ;).
