I have 2 4efte engines.

1st 4efte compression results:
Cylinder no.1 = 150
Cylinder no. 2 = 150
Cylinder no. 3 = 145
Cylinder no. 4 = 150

2nd 4efte compression results:
Cylinder no.1 = 138
Cylinder no.2 = 140
Cylinder no. 3 = 140
Cylinder no. 4 = 160

are these results satisfactory ?

1st one is fine. second one i would do a compression test with a little oil down the bores and see what you get then. that will tell you whether its a piston ring seal problem or a valve sealing problem. i would definitely recondition that engine before using it if possible.

Engine 2 may have a slight issue with cylinder 4, thats to big a jump up in my opinion. Worth checking the usual suspects on that cylinder, intake oil stem seals being the first and then valve clearances. But they are reasonably healthy results in both engines.
