Compressor housing removel

Is it possible to remove the housing without actually removing the turbo from the manifold and downpipe?

I'm removing the turbo during the next nice day we have (whenever that is) so its not getting put into practice its just merely curiosity.

However the compressor housing still needs removing so does anyone know the procedure for this?

No you can't get the big huge circlip/clamp off with it on the manifold. Best bet it so take it all off mate.

if the clip has been moved in the past and is in the right place it is possible.

but yeah, take the turbo off, and, you'll either have to get a pair of right angled needle nose pliers or circlip removers, or remove the exhaust housing and use normal ones
