coolant temp sensor color

hey i have a gt starlet and i'd like to know what the color is of the coolant temp sensor.
the car has a grey one it. is this the right one?

i tried searching for the answer but couldn't find it.

The coolant temp sensor is usually green and found underneath the distrbutor in the thermostat housing.

that's what i thought but my car has a grey one. could this be a problem??

i'm asking because when the car is cold it's driving better than when it's at normal temperature could it be cause of the wrong temp sensor?

Think there's two different types, one for gt's and one for glanza's.

ok i've read that some glanza ones have 3 wires and the ep82 has 2 wires. mine has 2 wires but the color of the sensor is grey not green.
if i don't have the right sensor on could it cause any problems?

If the resistances are not the same as a GT sensor then yes.

could it be problems like the car not driving very well when it gets to normal temp?

A faulty temp sensor will result in the engine either running poor when hot or poor when cold, very rarely will you get both coniditions.

Well actually Glanza models have different sensors depending on the year. How about simply go on the camskill and have a quick look?
