coolant bubbles out the coolant bottle after a good thrashing is this a problem?? also anyone know where i can get a copper washer or something for my sumnp plug its leaking slightly

For coolant problem, theres afew causes for this, get a sniff test done on the coolant, also are you running a half size rad or anything? have you had the system bled properly? if not you could have air in the system causing it to push coolant out.

And the sump plug washers are available from any motor factors or halfrauds.

get a sniff test and a compression test done mate.
i got this on mine, compression test came back fine, so did a sniffer test and although took it longer to happen, there is definately a problem there.

so when i can be assed to get out of bed today, i'm stripping mine down.lol

checks for exhaust gasses in the coolant system.

if your close to southampton give us a call and i'll have a go, got a brand new one the other day to check mine.

your about 2 hours away lol so why would there be exhaust gases in the coolant?

Exhaust gasses in the coolant are usually a symptom of the head gasket is gone
