Corolla G6 4E-FE with turbo?

Hi!

So i have just bought a Toyota corolla G6 With a 1.3L 4E-FE engine. as ii was searching on the web i found that many people have put a 4E-FTE in this car, but as i see it thats gonna be way too expensive for me. aint it possible to just buy a turbo kit for my 4E-FE? and get 133hps or something like that?

Hoping for good answers, cause i would really like to have a turbo on my car

Do able but I would suggest a piggyback ecu at the least to control timing and fuel.

everything from the 4efte will fit so just use everything from that

Running stock boost you should be o.k as long the engine is healthy and its tuned right.

as i have searcht the web and have had a talk with a toyota dealer ship, i found out that this is not reccomended. it will only end in the engine failing.

It's probably cheaper and easier to stick a 4EFTE in it.
